MacuHealth in Birmingham Signs Agreement with to Provide Training for Eye Care Professionals

Birmingham-based MacuHealth has signed an agreement with to create an online educational learning resource allowing optometrists and eye care technicians to complete certified training on the importance of nutrition for eye health at their desk or using a mobile device. is a transatlantic partnership between Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland and the College of Optometry at Salus University in Pennsylvania.

Research shows how good nutrition positively impacts visual performance, and MacuHealth and see an opportunity to open global access to a range of video tutorials on the subject for eye care professionals.
